I've been introduced to beauty & skincare products at an early age and in my sixteen years of living, I have finally gathered my top 8 drugstore products! As much as I love my high street make up, I find drugstore products to be just as great in terms of quality. This month, I've stocked up pretty good, so continue reading whether you are on a budget or if you're new to beauty products. Tiny reminder though: All the products I post are purchased with my money and are obviously not sponsored; I do not post items that I have not tested on myself, so all of the things here work well with me. Lettuce begin!
Rimmel, Stay Matte: This long lasting pressed powder first appeared on my most recent post when I had purchased it in the Pop District Bazaar. I absolutely get the hype around this product now. It's not something to apply for coverage but for setting your make up. I know Rimmel is quite rare here, but it is a drugstore brand especially in the UK.
Revlon, Colorstay Concealer: My mom and I both share a love for this concealer mainly because it has such good coverage for redness and scars around the face. I've probably repurchased this product more than five times. For those annoying spots that I dislike around my face, I like to use a medium moyen and I opt for a light medium moyen under my eyes.
EOS, Summer fruit Lip Balm: It's a little bit rare for me to fancy sweet or fruity lip balms. I always go for something minty or citrus, but I've recently bought this summer fruit one and it tastes like a burst of nostalgia. I wish I could give you a specific candy that it tastes like but it sure does taste like childhood (not that I licked it).
Maybelline, Lash Sensational Mascara: YOOOOOOOOOOO, this mascara is my babe! I've heard several beauty gurus rave about this mascara and now I am one of them. I'm a huge fan of Maybelline's mascaras, but this one is by far my favourite. If you're just starting your make up kit, this one is something you would not regret purchasing. It's not very clumpy in consistency and perms the lashes to perfection. I fricking love it.
Revlon, Brilliant Strength Nail Enamel: I'm not particularly into nail products as I have short nails due to the crafts and the art I do. However, this shade called 'Provoke' is a summer must-have. It's a peachy to coral colour.
Revlon, Bronze Highlight: Another repurchase! This one is in the shade 003, I believe. It's such a pretty packaging and leaves you looking sun-kissed. I think I featured this in my winter essentials blog post too. Basically, it's great all year round.
Revlon, Colorburst Lip Crayons: I personally find Revlon's lip crayons to be the best. Also, not sorry for making half of the products mentioned Revlon. I have not explored new shades lately because I do want to search for other brands as well. The top most is a matte lippie whilst the one next to it has a shine. In addition, these taste minty good.
Wet n Wild, Matte Lipsticks: These are new purchases and I am OBSESSED. I've been straying out from reds and dark colours more and have been using more peachy and pink tones as it is the spring/summer time. Wet n Wild has quite similar lipsticks to MAC, but they're cruelty-free and surely affordable.
