In case you haven't been quite around, I've been on holiday for two weeks. So in this snuggled up afternoon, I'm gonna give you a little glimpse on my layover in Korea. We had about 13 hours to spare in the Incheon airport before our flight to Vancouver, so my family and I decided to take a transit tour. In case you're travelling to somewhere and you have a long layover in Incheon, you should definitely take one. The tours range from different hours, but we took one of the five-hour ones. It is essentially free, but the tour we took charged us $10 each for the food and the entrance fee of Gyeongbokgung palace.

The first stop was Gyeongbokgung palace which really deepened my knowledge towards korean culture. The vast area is surrounded with traditional structures and is definitely worth your time. The palace also had a ceremony which I barely got to see because of our tour's curfew. For lunch, our tour guide brought the entire group to a small hidden restaurant in the end of an alleyway. I had vegetarian bibimbap whilst others had the choice of having beef bulgogi. We then had the chance to roam around the streets and visit local boutiques for about an hour. For a tour worth $10, it is much better than lounging in the airport.

Whilst my mom was educating me towards big designer brands around the airport, we happened to stumble upon a small bread cafe. Not gonna lie, I forgot the name but it was somewhere along the lines of Paris and Croissant. They served delicious food and drinks. We also stumbled upon musical performances and cultural ceremonies around the airport. Overall, if you have a long layover, maximize it to the fullest most especially in Korea where a bunch of activities are free.

Sophia Amoruso's book, #GIRLBOSS, has immensely taught me numerous insights including learning how to hustle for myself and for others. Just recently, Netflix released a thirteen-episode series loosely based on Amoruso's E-bay past and it's a lighthearted watch if you ask me. One reason as to why I binge watched the whole season in one night was because of the clothes. In the series, Sophia is seen in vintage-esque outfits including flare pants, silk bombers, and heels like no other.
Today, I decided to subtly channel a little bit of #GirlBoss into my outfit.

001: My rust-coloured, boatneck top is from Uniqlo and it has a ribbed texture to it.
002: Straight jeans with parted ends and fringes is from Mango, but I purchased it off from Zalora. I think it looks pretty badass, it honestly makes me feel like I'm some lead singer of some indie band.
003: I finished the outfit with black heeled-mules from River Island which I also ordered from Zalora.

I don't often get ahold of fancy, luxurious body scrubs as I like to experiment on different ones. Fortunately, my aunt gifted me one from Origani for my birthday and I have been attached to it ever since. This one specifically is the exfoliating salt scrub, perfect for at home spa days.

The packaging isn't as fancy for the price of P3600, but regardless of the plastic tub, it still has a really pretty cap. Not gonna lie though, the first sniff isn't the best. It's a very confusing floral smell and not exactly the best kind. However, after applying on damp skin, it smells very luxurious. It's a spa in a tub basically.

I apply it onto my foot due to the sore my high heels at least twice a week when I have my weekly home made spas. It leaves my feet silky smooth at the end. After, I like to put on some vitamin E to lighten and smooth out odd textures. However, it can also be applied to your body, but I feel like it doesn't leave my skin as smooth as other scrubs, so I save it all for my tired feet. (is this tmi? i hope not.) Overall, it probably has one of the most luxurious second scents and is perfect for foot scrubs as its grains really exfoliate any dead skin on your feet.

February swung by like a blur. To me, it was a month of awareness and self-love. It created new foundations for relationships and closed some gates as well. But that, that isn't the point of this blogpost. This is just another slightly-late monthly favourites in which I share to you the materialistic-ish stuff I've been raving about.

I had my birthday yesterday, I am seventeen now. It's quite surreal how I was 7 years old 10 flipping years ago. I couldn't say that I'm the most experienced seventeen-year old out there, but just like everybody, I have come across multiple morals on my road to becoming 17. I wrote down a list to compile things I'd like to share, so here are seventeen things I've learned in my seventeen years on this planet.

Face masks are my favourite skin care products. There's nothing like a good ol' face mask on a Sunday night. I came around one of these clay bentonite face masks online and everyone was raving about 'The World's Most Powerful Face Mask'. I was curious, of course, especially with all those before-after photographs, so I definitely had to place an order. And not gonna lie you guys, I might be obsessed. With this Indian Healing Clay face mask, you can really feel you face pulsate as it declogs your pores. It's also organic, natural, and cruelty-free which is amazing. It's solely made up of 100% calcium bentonite which results to a very hard mask after 15 minutes.


With this face mask (it comes in a powder form) you could mix in 1 part water or 1 part apple cider vinegar. However, the hipster I am, I mix both of them as it is what works for my skin best. I also like to use a Happy Skin blush brush to apply the muddy consistency onto my face. I do about 1 teaspoon of calcium bentonite for my tiny face and paint on 2-3 coats. The instructions suggest a quarter of an inch worth, but it does take some time to dry. It's so satisfying removing the mask in a hot shower.  And don't be afraid, it is natural for it to leave redness for the first thirty minutes.


Budget wise, it is so worth $10! I highly suggest you get it because for a girl struggling with a heap of blackheads, this face mask minimizes it soo well. I raved about it to everyone I know and tested it out on both my mom and my brother and you could legit see how clean their pores are. All in all, probably the best face mask I've ever tried.
