April & May Favourites
6:06 PM
I am pretty rubbish when it comes to keeping up with my monthly favourites, not gonna lie. But today, I am back at last with a favourites post for both April and May. Because it is Summer and I try to minimize my makeup when I am on holiday, I don't have a lot of beauty products in this post. However, I have a lot of skincare to show you, so let us begin with those.
Rice Bran Meditation Balm, Oryspa: I have been obsessed with this meditation balm recently. It reminds me a lot of after-yoga shavasanas and it just soothes every ache in my body. I often have migraines and insomnia, but this meditation balm instantly relieves me.
Brumisateur Facial Spray, Evian: After a yoga class or a sweaty activity, I always spritz my face with this rehydrating facial spray. It is also prefect for keeping the colour from cosmetics all through out the day. This is certainly a Summer essential.
Moroccan Argan Oil, Instant: Although Argan oils are quite pricey (depending on the ml), I highly suggest you invest on a bottle especially if you have dry hair & skin like me. After washing my hair, I like to apply a small amount of it to the tips while my hair is still damp. It just assures me that I'll be having a good hair day. Argan oil is also a great moisturizer.
Rice Bran Beauty Oil, Oryspa: Oryspa has been one of my favourite local skincare brands ever since I have tried this beauty oil. It works great as a make up remover and a nighttime moisturizer. I use this on my face by putting a pea-size amount on my finger and spreading it all over my face, my eyelashes included! I naturally have thin hair, but my eyelashes have grown thicker all because of this product.
Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Cleansing Wipes, The Face Shop: I love cleansing wipes because who doesn't? It's the most convenient thing ever. My pack from The Face Shop is running out way too quickly! It removes all of my eye make up very well especially that I use waterproof mascara most of the time (gotta be ready for sobbing y'know).
Chia Seeds: Chia seeds are my one of my favourite superfoods. I have been sprinkling chia seeds to my smoothies and other breakfasts lately. It's a good source of vitamins with a low calorie count. Chia seeds are loaded with antioxidants and are high in quality protein. How could you not include them in your meals?
Cocoro Sugar Ivory: This coco sap sugar is the bomb for baking! I've baked brownies and made quinoa bars with this sugar and it's amazing. They also have recipes in their website that are delicious!
After Dinner Mints Tea, Clipper: Clipper is definitely my go-to tea brand. This specific flavour is my choice after heavy meals or if I feel like sipping on tea on the middle of the day. It's refreshingly minty which is perfect in my opinion.
Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint, Etude House: Cheek tint is an essential for summer! It gives a sun-kissed look without having to look bronzy. I like to apply this one from Etude House on no-makeup days or when I'm off to the beach. It also makes my face look less dull.
Shut Up & Kiss Me Lippie, Happy Skin: I love matte lippies! If you've read my January favourites, I've mentioned the same lipstick but in a different shade. This shade is called Pop The Question and it's a beautiful nude-pink and suits the no-makeup look!
Lip Butter, Nivea: If there's one thing I couldn't sleep without, it would be this lip butter from Nivea. It tastes soo satisfying
That is all for my April & May Favourites! I hope you have a lovely week ahead and see you on my next post <3 x

This is such a lovely post! I love chia seeds as well, and sometimes I'll make them into a little pudding with fresh fruit on top for breakfast. I hope that you have an amazing June! ♥

Thank you, Amy! I have not tried making chia seeds into a pudding yet, but I think it would be great with blended frozen bananas and frozen berries <3 x

I LOVE Argan oil, I apply to my mid-lengths and ends of my hair after a shower and every night before bed I do the same and then braid it! It leaves my hair feeling super soft in the morning but not greasy at all!
